Kids Eat Free at Zion Lutheran This Summer, No Sign-Up Needed

Any kid in Marengo can eat free this summer at Zion Lutheran Church, with no reservations and no questions asked.
The church is serving free meals to children 18 and younger every weekday through July 30. Breakfast runs from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m. and lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. There is no cost and nothing to sign up for. Kids just show up and eat.
Where: Zion Lutheran Church, 412 Jackson Street. Enter on the East Street side.
When: Monday through Friday, now through July 30. Breakfast 8:00 to 9:00 a.m., lunch 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Who: Any child 18 or younger.
The program is sponsored by the USDA, the Illinois State Board of Education, and Zion Lutheran Church. The sponsors are equal opportunity providers and employers.
