Day in the Park Needs 50-Plus Volunteers — Sign Up Now

The Marengo Park District's annual Day in the Park is set for Saturday, July 11, and organizers say they're "in dire need" of more than 50 volunteers to pull it off. They're asking residents to claim a two-hour shift on the Day in the Park volunteer page.

The district is also working to raise $25,000 to cover the day's costs — roughly $13,000 of that for the fireworks — and thanked the people, groups, and businesses that have already chipped in.
